About Nick Angelos

Nick Angelos is a technology and startup enthusiast who currently works as an Investment Banker at Bank of America in Chicago. He covers companies across multiple sectors as part of the Emerging Growth & Regional Coverage group, including FinTech, Tech, Consumer & Retail, Healthcare and Industrials. Prior to joining EGRC in Chicago Nick was part of BofA's Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging group and was based in New York. In his spare time Nick has done pro-bono consulting work for a Nigerian Media startup and two US-based Consumer Goods startups.

Nick was the co-founder of Eddie, a startup in the Property Technology space, where he focused on Product and Finance. Prior to co-founding Eddie, Nick held roles in strategy, analytics and product development at Sears Holdings as part of a rotational Leadership Development Program.

Nick enjoys writing code almost as much as he likes coming up with interesting ideas for things to build. While his code is primarily (hacky) JavaScript, Nick enjoys getting exposure to other languages and dreams of one day being good enough to be a meaningful contributer to one of the Linux distros. In the less distant future, he would like to be good enough to have the option to transition back into software engineering.

Education: MBA from Georgetown University (McDonough Scholar); BS in Economics from Brigham Young University; Graduate of FullStack Academy of Code; AS from Dodge City Community College.
